Ladies Golf Clubs
Men's and Ladies golf clubs are usually made with exacting craftsmanship,
but ladies golf clubs have a little more consideration and fine tuning. So take
some time, try out some different clubs that you find comfortable, and keep
in mind there are some differences between men's and women's clubs.
Ladies golf clubs tend to be lighter, shorter and generally they have different
shafts compared to men's golf clubs. Women's clubs are usually made
out of a graphite shaft rather than the steel shaft which are going to give
you more flex then a man's set of clubs, which can be an advantage.
Women's clubs tend to have more flexibility to them then a man's
club. The reason for this is due to the fact that men are generally stronger
then women and because they are, this allows them to hit the ball with more
mph then a woman. The added flexibility is going to make it easier to generate
power to be able to send that ball flying down the fairway. You may also notice
that the club heads have a lower center of gravity, which is to help you get
the ball into the air.
The grips of the clubs also have a tendency to be shorter than the standard
grip, and since the women's clubs are built this way, they give you the
advantage of striking the ball further. They also give you more forgiveness
for your weight, height and strength compared to a man's stiffer, heavier,
longer golf club.
This doesn't mean that you can't use a set of men's clubs.
If you've tried women's golf clubs and you're not comfortable with
them, but are more comfortable with a set of men's clubs, then go wtih
those. Remember, it's about being comfortable and improving your game.
Depending on your height and your swing speed, it's very important to
decide on a set of clubs that are right for you. You want clubs that are going
to allow you to have the correct loft, shaft stiffness to your liking, etc.
to help you with your game. Once you've decided on a set of clubs that
best works for you, whether they are men's or ladies golf clubs, get out
on the green's and let's see what your able to do!
